If not, you have to be creative and do whatever you need to do to secure it properly. The whole thing should be tight-fitted.And that settings go on top of the aluminum one. Arrange the whole thing in a way so that the 5-inch fiberglass tube goes on top of the 10-inch one. Use nuts and bolts to fasten these two tubes together.Repeat the same procedure with the 5-inch fiberglass tube as well except drill hoke into only one end of the tube in this case.Grab the 10-inch fiberglass tube and drill 1-inch hole at 2-feet into both ends.Make sure the hole is drilled 2-feet away from the end of the tube. Drill a 1-inch hole on the aluminum tube.Got the winch and pulley all buckled up and secured?Awesome! If the winch mechanism works perfectly, secure it with a wire-clip.Step Six: Let The Fiberglass Tubes Finish In Style! Now tie the cable to the bottom section of the aluminum tube and fasten it with a washer/spacer. Once installed, fasten the winch to the steel cable and grab the spare part to go through the pulley. We recommend installing it in the middle of the steel post. While installing the winch, follow the direction of its manual. To attach the pulley, you can use the U-hook. Install the pulley in a way so that it stays in the same direction where the aluminum tube falls and remains face-to-face with the winch. To elevate the mast, you need to fasten the winch and the pulley to the aluminum post. This part will be the pivoting section for your structure. Attach the steel post and aluminum tube with the help of the bolt.Measure the hole height in a way that it’s at least 6-feet off the ground. Grab the drill machine again and drill into the steel post this time.Make sure the hole is at least 1-inch in diameter. The tube should be drilled at 5-feet to place a bolt in the middle. To install a central section for your antenna mast, use the aluminum pipe we mentioned before.Once it’s nice and dry, move onto the next stage. Actually, there’s nothing you need to do at this stage except wait! The cement will take some time to dry up.Attach the U-bolt washer in place and fill up the rest of the hole with pre-made cement.Make sure the bar is a bit bigger than the opening itself so it has a small section left on top of the ground. To make the structure a bit stronger, put a metal bar into the hole.Push the tubes into the center position of the opening and shove them at least 2-feet under the ground. Once the meatal rebars are installed, you already have a solid reinforcement to work with! Now it’s time for the steel pipes to go into the hole. For this, we will use the metal rebars from our tool list and shove into the prepared hole. Prepared the hole as we suggested? Awesome! Now, it’s time for installing the anchor for the foundation.Step Two: Construct The Base Of The Structure Make a hole in the ground that’s 3×3 feet in size with the help of a shovel. Prepare the place where you will install the structure. Gather the tools that we mentioned above in this article. So, make sure you find a spot that’s suitable for this mast structure. Once installed, you can’t move it around. First of all, you need to locate the place where you are going to install this thing. Stay tuned and enjoy! What Is An Antenna Mast?
